Earthquakes to increase in 2018

2017 is gone and as we enjoy the first few days of 2018, reports have emerged of a study that claims that 2018 will be a year of the earthquakes - as many as 20 severe ones - if calculations are correct.

In 2017 there were plenty of natural calamities that rocked our world and 2018 is going to be no different if we are to believe the study by University of Colorado researchers and colleagues.

The study says that the speed of earthquake will increase in the new year. Several shocks over 7 levels in the year 2018 can shake the world. It was also claimed in the report that earthquake level can also be up to 9.0. About 20 such earthquakes can occur in 2018.

“Next year we should see a significant increase in numbers of severe earthquakes. We have had it easy this year. So far we have only had about six severe earthquakes. We could easily have 20 a year starting in 2018,” says Roger Bilham, lead scientist of the seismic study.

Assuming the report, the earthquake’s apprehensions are high when the earth is in rotation mode. At this time the time of rotation of the tectonic plate, which can prove to be a major danger. If reports are correct and earthquakes ranging from 7 to 9.0 level, then there may be fear of slight shaking.

It has been reported in the report that such an earthquake can shake other areas including Western America, Southern Europe, the Middle East, South America. Not only earthquake, but volcano can also increase the world’s trouble this year. However, these things have not been confirmed in the report.
